DD will start K next year at a school that has this as their before and aftercare program. I am looking at it for aftercare. Does anyone have a child enrolled in it? What do you think of it? |
I LOVE Kids After Hours. You are lucky. Our school used to have a different provider and KAH is a million times better. |
KAH is awesome. Fabulous director and counselors, great activities and crafts. They really keep the kids entertained.

I love it! My daughter has been going since K and is now in 3rd grade for aftercare. If I tell her I am going to pick up her early she frowns bc she doesn't want to miss her KAH time, LOL.
The counselors are wonderful and very engaging. They take their time with the children and always call me if there's a question or a problem (if my daughter falls, feels sick, etc.) Which center is your child going to? |
I don't even have a reason to send my son to KAH at Oakland Terrace and I'm considering it for a day or two a week because they are so awesome! I get to know the people running it when I drop off and pick up my son from school and I have been very impressed. |
Agree! They are awesome! |
We are also at OTES and love KAH! |
Love KAH, this is my son's second year, he loves it and never wants to leave.
I would however be wary about the summer camp, it isn't the same. |
How much does before and after care cost for Kids After Hours? |
Ok, this is an old thread but I was thinking about the summer camp with KAH. Does anyone have feedback on their summer camp? |
It probably varies by location. They do not have summer camp at all the same locations that have afterschool care. So, your camp director may be different from your school year director. DD loves both school year and summer camp (which is not at her regular school). I think summer camp is a bit more sugar-filled, a little less warm and fuzzy. But it is summer. They definitely keep them active and outside as much as possible. |
We did KAH at Farmland Ele. last year. LOVED it. and will try to do a week or so this summer as well. |
