Taking DH to dinner next weekend for his birthday and he wants to go to a place that is exciting and new. What say you denizens of DCUM, any ideas. His favorite cuisines are French and Asian and our budget is $250 tops.

Birch and Barley is good, although not that new anymore. Estadio is more "exciting" but also does not take reservations after 6pm and the wait can be long.
