ECNL moving to school year part 2

We are playing MLS Next Academy U14 (2012).

Last weekend our opponent U14 played with 2 2011s, taller and bigger than the average.

Anyway we won 5-1

Make sure you tell the other parents that you're playing down for wins. This way they'll love you.

As long as we win they will be fine. Also if it only applies to showcases where results don’t matter I’m not sure if you’re playing for “wins”.

If they're smart they'll ditch you at the showcase so you cant play down and you spend a bunch of $$$ looking stupid.

I agree having 2-3 players who are older should not make a huge difference.

Like how do you see birthdays of opposing team players?

They told us, no secret about it, everyone knows each other here in the Madison/Mileaukee area. Also, our kids had played futsal against them so many times since they were very little kids.
