How much staff turnover is going on at your school this year?

| It sounds like you are talking about layoffs, not turnover. |

| Yes, the economy is squeezing a lot of schools. Schools in VA and MD (who don't have the cushion of a population desperate to escape DC Public Schools) in particular are trying to cut on the expense side of the equation; and for private schools the number one expense is personnel. |

| Noticed that Sidwell has ~25 open positions listed on their website at the moment. I know they are larger than most independent schools but this seems like a lot. Are they experiencing a lot of turnover, or is this normal? |
