implantation pain

Just wondering if anyone can describe what implantation pain feels like? Or when in the cycle you would feel it? Thanks!

Mine felt like strong menstrual cramps, and only lasted a few hours- I woke up in the middle of the night with them. I had it around 8 days past ovulation.

I can pretty much ditto the PP - except mine was shorter, maybe half an hour, but incredibly intense cramp-like pain. I am guessing it was around 6-8 days past ovulation (I didn't chart so don't know exactly).

Ditto also. Very intense, sharp menstrual pain that felt very "deep" if that makes any sense. I typically have very light menstrual cramps and these were much, much stronger. Lasted a couple hours.
