Shophouse

Anyone been to the Shophouse Southeast Asian Kitchen in Dupont Circle? It's owned by Chipotle, and is supposed to use the same concept, but with noodles/rice/banh mi.

I've been there once and while it was decent (I had the bowl) I wasn't blown away. I think it was b/c it was my first time and I wasn't sure of the best combinations... the meatballs were yummy but the green curry didn't exactly complement them. But the servers didn't really give me any guidance. I think next time I will try the banh mi. Maybe I'll be more impressed with that. The menu could use a few more items... maybe some chicken satay or dumplings.

Just had a banh mi there and it was very good. I had the chicken one. The bread needed to be a little more crusty, but overall satisfying.
