WSJ: “The Heritage Foundation official who leads Project 2025, the conservative roadmap for the next Republican administration, is stepping down after former President Donald Trump and his aides publicly criticized the group and Democrats decried its proposals as radical and dangerous.”

Nice try, MAGA.
Do Trump and his minions really think no one sees right through this “stepping down”? As if that negates the whole project.

Wow, your desperation is palpable! Best of luck in your efforts to continue trying to make fetch happen!

These are all the people he supports and will be in his administration. He has always been a useful idiot to them.

Both of them leave when it’s apparent that not only is this the GOP’s plans for the future, but they are, as the guy above says, testing it out now. Project 2025 is already in action to varying degrees in various locations and it must be halted.

Yup. Total crickets. They know it’s indefensible.

Yup, you totes shamed us

+1 and as Republicans across the country introduce legislation that does exactly what Project 2025 wants to do nationwide…

Trump has taken steps to distance himself from Project 2025, which isn’t part of the campaign, as Democrats gained traction in raising public awareness about the agenda.

During a rally in Grand Rapids, Mich., in July, Trump said the project was drafted by “some on the right—severe right,” and that he knew some of the people involved but not all of them. In an earlier social-media post he described some of the things the group proposed as “absolutely ridiculous and abysmal.”

+1 Too late. Those involved in Project 2025 are part of Trump's inner circle, and they will take on top rolls in his administration.

We should all still be very afraid of the "Christian Taliban" taking over this country and making us into Gilead.

Gaslighting MAGAs…..Trump knows nothing about Project 2025 and Heritage Foundation but has enough influence to find a fall guy - who had been an official in Trumps previous administration.

Not buying it….Project 2025 stink is going to be a lot harder to wash off.

RNC is usually the entity that would be helping staff next administration and working to identify new staff/hires. And Trump fired everyone at and put in loyalists.

Sound familiar? Why yes! That’s a Project 2025 plan!

One of the hiring/vetting question for Project 2025 is agreeing the 2020 election was stolen.

Whose favorite line/lie is the 2020 election was stolen? Why yes! That’s Trump and all the trumPeTS.

Nice try….but not working. Gaslighting only works for so long. And it’s not working anymore.

Yeah, that's how I was going to describe it. Trump isn't washing this stink off. If anything, this shines a brighter light on its extremism.

So let me get this straight.
The Trump campaign is responsible for staffing decisions at project 2025…
But the Trump campaign has no affiliation with project 2025.
Is that right?
Ok. Sure.

Sure, just like when we heard that Roe was settled precedent during the SCOTUS nomination hearings, and then it suddenly wasn't. MAGA lies. Trump's former administration people and other allies drafted it. Trump owns it. This is just proof how unpopular it is.
