Gonzaga and Bullis are trying to find some meaning for the season. Nice try. |
At least my kids NVYLL game still means something. |
| Scores from tonight |
| Western reserve beat Gonzaga 8-5 |
| McDonough 15 Calvert Hall 5 |
Time for Gonzaga to get a new offensive coordinator. Zaga folded the final 4 weeks of the season |
Blame the "O"? Maybe the D and goalie is not quite up to par |
| Culver 19 Bullis 6 |
8 goals is not bad. Western put up 10 on Loyola Blakefield, 11 on Culver. They are legit. |
Last two WRA goals were empty netters. |
|
Let’s not forget Gonzaga scored 2 in their last
Game. |
| Gonzaga and Bullis have to be the 2 worse coached teams in the DMV. So much wasted talent. |
| No way, Landon is by far the worse coached team in the DMV. |
Landon finally started clicking the final 3 weeks of the season (yes it took them long enough), the Bears were extremely young this year. The majority of the squad was sophomores and juniors, with only 3 seniors playing big minutes. Kevin Miller, one of the top offensive players in the 2024 class returns from an ACL injury this summer. Expectations will be very high next season on Wilson Lane. Bullis and Gonzaga had disappointing seasons. I thought Bullis would contend for an IAC title given how much they returned on paper from the IAC championship team in 2022 (Band, Wade, Till, Ettinger, Jose, Rinaldi). I believe Wade missed most of the season from mid-March onwards and Bullis never seemed to mesh well. Gonzaga once again comes out of the gates hot like they always do in March but always loses steam come April onward. They hardly beat Good Counsel late in the season, only put up 2 goals against PVI in the WCAC semi-finals, and only 5 goals against Western Reserve... You could make the argument, their defense and goalie play kept them afloat this Spring... Expect more woes on Eye Street again next spring unless they figure out their offensive coordinator situation. |
