First Birthday Party Outfit for Mom

Ok - clueless. What should I wear to my kid's first birthday party in November - at our home, mostly adults but a handful of kids? Yes, I am obsessing over this now. A casual dress, jeans, cords...I dont want to look frumpy, but also don't want to look ridiculous/overdressed. If anyone has links to cute ideas, that would be great too

| No specific suggestions, but whatever you wear, take some candid shots of you in it before the party to make sure you're happy with the way it looks in photos. I thought I had a fabulous outfit but it looked awful in photos. |

| A nice top with jeans/pants and flat shoes. Or a casual dress with leggings/tights. Go with whatever makes you feel great but doesn't look like you're going to a wedding! |
