Police response on Sangamore Road today?

Anyone have any idea what was going on around 4:45pm on Sangamore Road in Bethesda near the Waldorf School (close to the Safeway shopping center)? We were driving through and, out of nowhere, unmarked cars, Park police, and Mont Co police surrounded the entrance to the school and the adjacent park. Just curious if anyone knew what was going on since I can't find anything about it on the Wash Post, Gazette, or Bethesda Patch websites.

no idea but I drove through there at about 6 and there was no activity at all so whatever it was ended quickly.

No idea either, but two things crossed my mind:

Training exercise
Waldorf School was the target of hate graffiti last winter. Did it happen again?

This wont be helpful now but there is a 911-Scanner app for the iPhone & Droid phones. You can download it & listen when stuff like that happens, it is the actual live police feed of the officers speaking to one another.

Also, sometimes the twitter feed of the Besthesda Patch has police incident updates.
