| and she asked me: "Mommy, can we stop? I want to buy a book!" |
| She's your first, isn't she? |
|
My son is so amazing too. We were driving in front of Ben and Jerrys and he said: Mommy, can we stop? I want to buy some ice cream and turn into a fat fock like you!
so proud of my baby! |
SO freaking amazing. I am shaking my head at how mind-bogglingly amazing.

| Book? wassa book? |
| The girl in question is 11 and I was just quoting someone... from FB I wanted to answer: "yeah, she is a snowflake" but didn't have courage too... |
I think that is awesome! It's better than whinning because she wants an I phone!! Did you buy her a book? Hope she loves it!!
|
| what an amazing child to want to buy a book from a book store....who would have thought of something like this? Only your darling child. |
| There are bricks and mortar bookstores left in the world? |

OP again: the girl in question is really a great kid, what irks me is the mother posting this kind of thing on facebook, or:
1) Sending an e-mail to all the family stating that her child has lots of clothes and toy already and what she needs is money for college. And writing down the bank account number, 2) Sending an e-mail to all the family with the "wish list" for x-mas/b-day. 3) Sending and e-mail to all the family communicating when the girl had her first period 4) Sending an e-mail to all the family to tell the family the child got A across the board and made the honor roll.. and telling everyone to send an e-mail/call the child to congratulate her because she deserves (yes, she does deserve, but it annoys me to be told how to behave) 5) Sending and e-mail communicating about some sort of end of year performance and telling relatives if they want to show their love for the child they can buy some sort of card sponsored by the school (it is to get money for the school, and while noble, I would prefer call and say congrats and/or send a card/flowers). Among other stuff. |
| I'm so pround of my DD when we drive past Total Beverage and she says "Mommy! I want to buy some beer." I say "that's my girl!". I was going to stay dry tonight but when she said that, I just couldn't resist! |
| She probably shouldn't brag. Bragging about something normal as if it were brilliant makes you seem kinda dumb. |
| Drive past a library instead. They have books there too. And they're free. |
| PEOPLE! OP has said twice she was quoting someone on FB!!! OP your friend would drive me nuts! |
| I kind of wonder whether OP is saying that now because of people making fun of her... I mean, why not put that in the original post...? |
