Montessori Program Arlington Public Schools-chances of getting in at age 4?

Does anyone have experience in getting into the Arlington Public School Montessori Program at age 4 at the following schools:

Campbell
Claremont
Barrett

Our son would have been a very young 3 starting the program in September and we thought a full-day program was too much for him at that age so we are interested in sending him at age 4 in September 2009.

It seems like the program is geared mostly for taking children at age 3. Has anyone gotten in at these schools at age 4?

Try joining the Arlington Montessori Action Committee (AMAC) yahoo group. They should have all the possible info on Arl. Montessoris.

My understanding is that preference is given to 4 years olds with previous montessori experience. And since there are so few spots to begin with (and Montessori schools generally take 3-year olds), I'm guessing it would be a long shot.
