Appleseed Rave

Ok so two weeks ago I was bemoaning the lack of stylish maternity clothes and hip boutiques in DC.
Thanks to two DCUMers, I was directed to Appleseed Boutique in Old Town, VA. It was by far one of my best shopping experiences ever (not just maternity shopping)!
We went yesterday and had the place to ourselves thanks to the holiday weekend. Cameron, the sales person was fabulous and kept finding me sale pieces or suggesting basics to add to the collection. My friend brought her 15 month old who ran all over the place and had the second dressing room as her private changing/snack/hang out area. All in all the experience was great - the final price tag was a bit painful but I literally have everything I need for the next 4 months save a few T's and stuff I can pick up at Target and Old Navy. I'll also stop back by in August to check out Fall arrivals and see if there is one or two more pieces I cant live with out. Plus, I figure all the stuff is great so I can either share the joy by loaning out the pieces afterwards or takign them to WIggle Room as the quality is fantastic.

OP - I'm one of the two original posters who recommended Appleseed. I'm so glad to hear that you had a positive experience! I really love the store and even found myself wishing the other day that I could go there AFTER pregnancy - if only they carried non-maternity clothes... That's probably a little crazy, but they have definitely made my pregnant self much better clothed and happier.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the recommendation - I was so happy with the experience!
Today is my first day of wearing Maternity pants and top to work and I feel great!
