Kensington area daycare/nursery school/etc-- looking for suggestions!

We are searching for full-time childcare for our 2-year-old in the Kensington, MD area (Kensington, Wheaton, Silver Spring, Bethesda, etc)

- Hoping to find something closer to home, if possible.
- We are looking for something a little more on the progressive/crunchy side if possible, but open to all suggestions.
- Budget is maximum $1200/month (ish)

Does anyone else have any suggestions? So far the only two places that seem to fit the bill at Chevy Chase Reggio and the Kensington/Forest Glen Center (which doesn't anticipate any openings)?

Temple Emanuel

A second vote for Temple Emanuel. The teachers are wonderful, it's a Reggio program and a little bit on the crunchy side. We are on our 3rd year there and will enroll our DC2 next year.

Does anyone know if Temple Emanuel accepts kiddos during the school year or just in September? (Provided they have space obviously.)

Also, for those who suggested it, are you members of the Temple? We are not members nor are we Jewish. Still okay?
