Can you tell me about the GT/LD program in MCPS?

Does anyone have any experience with the GT/LD program for grades 3-5? And beyond? Positives? Negatives? What's it like for the kids to be in a separate classroom from their other peers? How big are the classes? What kind of mix of kids is it? Any kids on the autism spectrum or is it primarily language-based LD's? Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!
