Last night I began experiencing severe abdominal pain. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was definitely a 9. It was debilitating – I also experienced nausea and vomiting with this sharp stabbing pain that literally blindsided me.
It subsided to a more dull pain after about an hour. It was without a doubt the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. If I didn’t know any better (I am definitely not pregnant) I felt like I was in labor – lower abdomen with a big contraction that lasted an entire hour. Today I am still crampy with a distended and slightly bloated (though not as bad as last night) abdomen. I already happened to have a gyno appointment set up for Friday…do you think I should just tough it out and and bring it up then? Or does anyone think this warrants me trying to get in somewhere sooner? Please let me know your thoughts. I have a habit of letting things go too far before I address them but what I am experiencing now, while unpleasant, is manageable |
| I would go in. Those are the symptoms I experienced when I had a bowel obstruction. By the time I got to the hospital, I was critical. I had two surgeries and spent weeks in the hospital. I wish I hadn't waited so long to go in. |

you may have a ruptured apendix. ( spelling sorry) Go to hospital if needed but get it checked. Not worth waiting. If it is nothing, great! Good luck
