Alt site during Beverly Farms renovation?

Anonymous
My family is considering moving to Churchill cluster, and was wondering about the current situation with Beverly Farms ES going through renovation. I understand kids are in an alternate location? Any current parents here that can give some insight? or was this the same alternate location that the Bells Mills children attend during renovation?

TIA

Isn't the same as Bells Mills because that's where Garrett Park is right now.

OP here. okay looks like Beverly Fams is at North Lake Center, 15101 Bauer Drive, Rockville, MD 20853. Does anyone know about this facility or how the experience has been being relocated?

I am a GP parent - and I think the relocation has been fine - especially since we get to move into a beautiful new school in January. I think that principal, the staff and the parents have a LOT to do with how well the transition has gone. The holding facility is old, but on Day One, the teachers had it looking like a real school with the halls decorated and lovely classrooms. I do wish we could have had an indoor gym - the all-purpose room is also the cafeteria -so on cold or rainy days the kids were stuck inside with nowhere to blow off steam. Our principal did help secure new playground equipment at the holding school so the kids had a decent playground. We had overcrowding issues (temp trailers in the back, not enough K classrooms,) but overall, we made it work. It is temporary after all, and we do have alot to look forward to in our new school. Ask me again in January after we try to make the changeover to the new school in one month (December) while school is still in session. It might be a little bumpy.

I'm a resident of the neighborhood where BF is temporarily located (North Lake Center). I have to say that it's been a nice transition for the neighborhood. Things on the outside seem very organized. It's not a frenzy of parents lining the streets attempting to pick up kids in the afternoon and drop off in the morning (we have had some schools in that building that have been a logistical nightmare). It just seems calm and orderly. I know nothing about what goes on inside the school during the school day though.
