Rock Creek Forest area early childhood education options

My husband and I recently purchased a home in Rock Creek Forest in Chevy Chase. We have a one year old in a nanny share but we are currently researching early childhood options in our area. Any suggestions? We prefer an evidence based curriculum, a diverse environment (socially, economically, racially, ethnically, LGBT/straight couples and single parents, religious).

Did you check out the program at the church ay east-west why and grubb rd?

Grace Episcopal. Except they start at age 3 so that doesn't help you at the moment. But everything else you said applies--evidence based, diverse and religious.

Temple Emanuel in Kensington meets all the criteria except racial diversity. It is a Reggio pre-school though and I'm not sure what an evidence based curriculum is. Also, the school provides full-time care and most families are two income.
