Infants, Toddlers, & Preschoolers
| DS is almost 3-weeks and appears restless at times, kicking his feet and arms which appears slightly more frequent following a feeding. Is this a sign that he is not digesting formula well or just typical newborn behavior? |

Typical newborn behavior. Their neurological systems are not fully developed yet. Swaddling can be comforting and calming for them.
Karp's "Happiest Baby on the Block" (book or dvd) is a great resource for the first 3-4 months. |

Pretty typical.
Are you bfing? One thing you may want to watch is your diet and see how it affects him. With two of my children, I had to eliminate dairy products from my diet and it made a huge difference. Good luck! |

Keep baby upright for longer after feeding to be sure the gas goes up for a burp.
