| Do you know if the Everyday Math textbook is being used in your FCPS AAP Center elementary classroom? |
| My son's fourth grade AAP teacher said they primarily use the M3 curriculum. |
| I'll be in dd's class for Back to school night next Tuesday. I'll take a peek and let you know. |
| Yes, ours uses Everyday Math. |
| 5th grade AAP class: they are using the 6th grade math text (by Scott Foresman) and M3 (M Cubed). The teacher does not like the Everyday Math text ("it's confusing") and is not using it. |
| Our 4th grade AAP last year used everyday math. They said at back to school night they would also use M3, but I saw no evidence of it. |
We haven't used it any of our 3 years in AAP so far. Couldn't be happier
|
| Haycock does not use it. |
Lucky you! |
| I heard that Louise Archer Elementary School at Vienna uses it for its 3rd-grade AAP. I am not so sure what textbook that Haycock uses. |
anyone know what floris, oak hill, or hunter woods use? |
| Absolutely no Everyday Math at Haycock thus far |
| LLIV at Flint Hill uses it |
| So . . . tell me why you like/hate Everyday Math (used in my DC's 3rd Grade class). |
Watch this video. It's 15 minutes, but after watching it you will understand why many people hate Everyday Math: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr1qee-bTZI |
