Applications and DC-CAS scores

Anonymous
When a student applies from a DCPS elementary to a private school, does he submit DC-CAS scores on the application? Thanks.

You have to look at the application for the respective school. They require different tests for different entry points. You can check out the websites of the schools you're interested in.

I do not think you have to at many schools, however I would because most paretnts will if the scores are good. Usually kids who are applying to private are high testers and the schools like to know it.

No, most privates won't accept of look at DC-CAS Scores. They require the WPPSI, SSAT, or ISEE.

Private schools ask for transcripts, or at least they did when my kids were applying for 6th grade from DCPS. Transcripts include test scores.
