Monday debate

It appears that the more you get to know Ricky Perry, the less attractive he is. Romney did pretty well against him, but now we have two candidates who have to run from their past. In romney's case it is his governorship and for Perry it is the words in his book.

Why does it seem that the most unelectable characters are the brightest bulbs in the room? Rick Santorum must be thinking "how can I be losing to these guys?". Well we all know the answer to that question, but hearing him or Newt in the last debate reminds us of what these top contenders don't have.

Well in any case it looks like we have 2 1/2 candidates and at least the two are heavily funded enough to go nuclear on each other. And to that I say "Yes You Should"

Unfortunately, I think calling either of those guys unelectable shows undeserved faith in the public. If it were the Rep nominee, a chimpanzee in an SS uniform would have the backing of Faux News and would take 40% of the popular vote and 1/3 of the states. Build from there.

This race will be tight no matter who the nominee is, and that's before factoring in how much of the left Obama has alienated.
