Kids With Special Needs and Disabilities
|
I recall reading about this a year or two. I assume this is a new study. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44260583/ns/health-childrens_health/ |
| But the question is: are the pesticides causing ADHD-type symptoms that lead to the kids being diagnosed with ADHD, or do they actually cause ADHD? |
For practical purposes, what difference is there between having ADHD-type symptoms, and having ADHD? There is no known etiology for this disease. It is diagnosed by definition on the basis of symptoms. |
That doesn't seem quite right -- it's a neurological condition. Moreover, for people who merely have symptoms that mimic ADHD, medication is not likely to help, which is why (in my opinion) you hear about extreme reactions to ADHD medication. |

Because perhaps you can eliminate what is causing the ADHD-type symptoms, while you can't eliminate ADHD. |
