High number of minorities, some gang related activity at Glasgow and Stuart.

Glen Forest has some really good teachers, but I believe it is #1 in mobility rate meaning the most kids that move in and out throughout the year-

Bump. I have this same question. I'm researched the schools a bit and are find with them for my kids (I think racial and socioeconomic diversity is a good thing), but I'm worried if I need to rent the house in the future renters might not be attracted to these schools. Thoughts?

I responded to your other post. Inventory of SFH in this area has been very low. It's a convenient location to DC, the Pentagon, Mark Center and Tysons. The schools are similar to, or better than, those in adjacent parts of Alexandria and South Arlington. The school demographics would repel some potential renters, but the location is good enough to attract others.
