What neighborhoods to look in? We are currently in BCC cluster and need a bigger house. North CC and Kensington (in BCC cluster) are on our radar. Ideally, we'd be close to metro or train, neighborhood with lots of kids/friendly, community pool.
We'll consider outside the BCC cluster but not as familiar . . . looking for suggestions! Strong preference for inside the beltway. |

I was just doing a search for you and didn't come up with much in BCC Cluster. Watch Rock Creek Hills, you'll get more for your money there. If you are open to changing schools, check out the Town of Kensington. There are a couple of listings that are lower than your budget and walkable to MARC. The schools would be Kensington Parkwood, North Bethesda and Walter Johnson.
Some need a bit of updating, but you'd have the budget for it. http://franklymls.com/MC7673033 http://franklymls.com/MC7624291 http://franklymls.com/MC7624291 http://franklymls.com/MC7669981 |
| East Bethesda, maybe? (Bordered by Jones Bridge/Wisconsin/East-West Hwy) Walkable to metro (NIH/Navy Hosp or Bethesda) No community pool, though. |
| How would you feel about living on a main road? You could easily find a good sized house near Bethesda metro if you are happy to live on a busy street. |

It might take a while, but you should be able to find something in that price range in close in CC or Bethesda. What about these in CC MD?
