Aargh, I think we have bedbugs--exterminator rec?

I'm pretty sure the little bites we are getting are due to bedbugs. Does anyone have a recommendation for a bedbug exterminator in Bethesda/CC?Upper NW? TIA.

There was a thread about this recently...I think American Pest Control was one of the recs. Use the search function and I'm sure you'll find it.

We used Home Paramount for bedbugs and their treatments worked. Bedbugs are awful, but you can get rid of them. Call and exterminator and find out if that's indeed what you're dealing with. Then work with the exterminator to get rid of them -- this means following all the exterminator's rules to a T. Also, do yourself a favor and stay away from bedbug forums on the web as they will drive you insane. You will get through this. Good luck.

Have you seen evidence of bedbugs in your house (like creases of mattress), or just bites? Mosquitoes are insanely bad in my neighborhood this year; I get a new bite every day, I swear, including from some that get in the house when we open the door.

This was me!! I was convinced I had them after reading some really scary articles. Turns out it was a) mosquitoes and b) folliculitis (itchy, enflamed acne) on my back and chest that went away with topical medication.

Not saying it isn't bedbugs, but definitely call an exterminator and have an inspection. Innovative Pest Management is the company our building uses on contract for pest control, and they are awesome.
