East Montgomery County vs West?

| So common perception is the "good "schools in MoCo are West (Beth, Rockville, Potomac) and not East (Silver Spring). I currently live in SS and am trying to decide between public and private, and if public, staying East or moving West MoCo. Is there anyone out there who had a kid in a SS school and moved west to get a "better" school? Was it worth it? |

| Silver Spring is changing dramatically in every conceivable way. The schools will catch up. Just give them time. |
