I have never heard of a public school with the word "Saint" in it before...

It's on Woodburn Road and I am wondering about that school too. It's a private school, so I guess you should not have posted in the Public School forum. My neighbors kids go there and they like it. I am not too keen on the church, but I have heard good things about the school. It's small and rather inexpensive.

My friends' kid missed the cutoff for public kindergarten by a couple of weeks, so they sent her to kindergarten at St. Ambrose. (she had previously attended preschool and pre-K at Carousel, up Woodburn Rd, with our daughter.) She stayed a year and then was able to get into public 1st grade. They were happy with the school during that year. They have 3 kids and can't afford private long-term, which is why she didn't continue there. They're Catholic. We considered the same option (our daughter also misses cutoff) but moved to Arlington so it's a moot point now.
