Lowering Interest Rates phone calls...help!

I get one of these a few times a day. First it is a recording that comes on saying they have an important message about lowering rates. Then if you press one for an operator and get a person and ask to be taken off the list they hang up on you! Once I tried playing along, just to see if I could get further and when I said I did not owe 5,000 in credit cards they also hung up on me. I am on the do not call list, but I have no way of enforcing this. Anyone also have this problem??

Yup, same problem. They (the organizers, if not the call operators themselves) are fully aware that what they're doing is illegal. I once asked to speak to a supervisor to complain, and the operator gave me a different toll-free number to call. It wound up being a phone sex line...
