PSA: Wipers On, Lights On

Anonymous
Drives me crazy when I see minivans without the lights on and it's raining hard enough to have to use wipers.

No, but the minivans cause me particular stress because you know there's a high likelihood that there are kids in there.

I live in VA and it is the law here that if your wipers are on, lights must be on. It is pouring and I saw about driving home I saw several cars without lights. Surprise! There was a VA state trooper waiting for them at the main intersection.

I agree with the majority of your statement, but it is for everyone, not just minivans. Yes, there is a likely hood of children in the car, but there are just as many people driving cars that aren't minivans w/ children in them. Plain and simple...it's dangerous to drive w/ windshield wipers on and not your headlights.
