Well she sure had a great run, there. Yesterday her campaign manager, Ed Rollins, and her deputy campaign manager both quit. I'd like to think that the GOP decided that they were not really looking for batshit crazy. I have a feeling they were just more comfortable with a good looking white male from Texas with a middling IQ and good hair. It worked so well for them last time, plus this one has 50% more hair. It's like Gee, if we could only get a Romney without the flip flops and the "mormon" thing, we're set. Now we can send in the handlers and begin the backpedaling from his book, "Fed Up", which will be quoted back to us for the entirety of the campaign.

Ed Rollins is pretty erratic as a campaign manager. Your overall point may be correct, but I would use anything Rollins does as evidence. I can't remember all the details, but I believe Rollins has resigned from a number of campaigns in midcourse.

I think you're dropping to panty-sniffer's level. Bachmann's ideas (like mangling the Constitution she claims to revere) are enough basis for attack. so I hate to see you get sidetracked into personal stuff.

Well I could imagine that, except (1) the timing, which is very bad, (2) she lost her deputy campaign manager, and (3) the statements which included calling her the third candidate and another about spending priorities.

There are so many things to criticize Bachman for, why bring her gender into it?

It's perfectly reasonable, though, to hang her out to dry for what she wants to do to all the other women in the sisterhood, though.

Actually I disagree. Hints of fluid gender issues in that family have got to really grate on the Bigot Brigade that worships her. And the BB is not amenable to reason so anything goes. These are the same people who are receptive to ads about "McCain adopting a black child", who called Obama "uppity" during his campaign or were parading around with a plush monkey that was supposed to represent him. Why take the high road?
