what doctor did you use and how were 20 units?
I'm starting to explore getting the vertical line between my eyes done. |
| also, how expensive?? |
| $700. don't know how many units. crows feet and frown line (between the eyebrows). very happy with it. have also done dysport. same thing, but it takes effect sooner. |
| PP again. Have seen Dr Roberta Palestine who I thought was TERRIBLE and Dr. Olding who I've been very happy with. |
| I've had both Botox and Dysport done at the Center for Laser Surgery in Foxhall. I didn't see the dr, but Amanda, the nurse practitioner. She does a great job (I've also had it done by a dermatologist and the results were the same). Frown lines cost about $300. I've used both Botox and Dysport, which are the same thing. In my experience, the effect is the same but the Dysport lasts longer, so I've been sticking with it vs. Botox. |
| Castiello in ch ch dc, friendship heights. $700 for everything |
| To those who have gotten it, how would you rate the pain? |
|
Pain is minimal. They give you a little ice bag, ten minutes later you're fine. Just a little stinging (as you would expect as it's a needle).
I go to Dr. Wendell Miles in Chevy Chase. Love him. Depending on how much you use, I'd say $700 is a fair estimate. |
| How long has it lasted? |
I'm 17:22. Castiello is the derm I've used for Botox. He does a great job, but I couldn't tell a difference from his work and the Botox job I got from the nurse practicioner at the Center for Laser Surgery other than the price. Castiello was definitely more expensive. |
Virtually no pain. I've done it a couple of times and have never been offered or needed ice. Restylane is more painful and they usually numb you. I go to Cultura. |
