Birthday gift for 2 year old with Downs Syndrome?

A close friend has a son with downs syndrome- he's highly functioning and is turning two. Any particular gifts-toys-letter recognition items you would recommend? I'd like to spend up to $30.

A baby doll stroller - they make non-pink ones.

My 2 yo loves his doctor kit, art supplies, anything with Elmo, Melissa and Doug toys (esp. the birthday cake), books and cars/trucks.

Boy dress up stuff - Fireman Hat and firetruck and DVD about Firetrucks, Railroad Cap, small train and DVD about trains, Goggles and Fins, Stuffed Fish and DvD about snorkeling. They love to pretend at that age.
