Previewing thread content by rolling mouse over thread title

Forgive my ignorance of the technical term for this function, but some websites have the capability of allowing you to preview what is in a thread by rolling the mouse over the title and seeing the first few lines. Is this possible? I realize there are pros and cons.

What you are talking about is done with Javascript. It's not a feature our software has at this point. Presumably, it could be implemented. I'll keep it in mind as a future feature, but it will be at the end of an already long list.

You can get an extension for your browser that does that. For Firefox there is a thing called coolpreviews, which allows you to see what's linked from current page. I'm sure there are plug-ins or something similar for other browsers.
