MOTH (Capitol Hill) School Information Night

I have friends who are moving to DC this spring and have a DD who will be starting kindergarten in the fall. I live on Capitol Hill (and they lively will too) but don't have kids so I'm not a member of MOTH. If the date for the school information night (usually in January?) has already been scheduled, could someone post it here so I can pass it along to her? If it hasn't been scheduled yet, could someone post it here when it is scheduled? I know it will probably be posted on the ANC list servs, but I have to admit that I don't always read those and I don't want to miss the announcement.

Also, they will most likely live with us (in our basement apartment) until they find a place to buy. Can they enter the lottery using our basement apartment address even if they know that their address will almost definitely change before the start of school? We are in bounds for Ludlow-Taylor, which I don't think is a very sought after school (no waitlist for in bounds), so it isn't like they would be pushing someone out for an in bounds spot and then be moving to an out of bounds address. They'd really be entering the lottery for out of bound spots at other schools on the Hill.
