Please Recommend a funny, witty page turner for this weekend on the Kindle!

I will get around to reading "the Help" maybe next week, but this weekend anyone know of a good download for the kindle that is witty, pretty fast paced, well written, etc.
No kidnap or war scenarios please, such a bummer.

Was gonna suggest The Misadventures of Justin Hearnfeld by Dan Elish, but realized it's not on Kindle...sorry. Would still highly recommend the book...it's a great read. You can check out the author's website for an excerpt.

I second this recommendation.

Agree, it was a very funny listen and I'm not sure it would have been the same without hearing her deliver it in her Tina Fey way. I also really liked listening to Rob Lowe's "Stories I Only Tell My Friends" and I am NOT someone who is in to celebrities.

Neither of these are helpful for OP though because I think they're better to listen to than read. I'm going to go check my Kindle and see if anything I've forgotten I read fits what OP is requesting.

Haha...I also came to recommend Bossypants! Love everything Sedaris too, except Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk. Could not get through it and I've read every other book of his and loved it.

Isn't a "page turner" on the Kindle an oxymoron??

I loved The Adults, too! Also, books by Jonathan Tropper. I just finished The Beautiful Girl, and enjoyed it very much.

I've enjoyed reading the Janet Evanovich series (one for the money, two for the dough, etc). very light reading. I've heard The Tourist is good, but haven't downloaded it yet.

Anything by Claire Cook. Her books are lighthearted, funny, and quick reads. I read Life's a Beach this summer and enjoyed it.
