Where can I find a list of preschools and reviews for preschools in n. arlington? We are looking to move and schools is an important consideration for us. Does Arlington have any public preschools?

As an aside to the South Arlington list - we visited Trinity and were very impressed with the director. We stopped by Funshine for an application and spoke with several parents entering/leaving - who all raved about it. (we didn't apply because we found space in North Arlington, closer to our home.)

Thanks to everyone for their lists! We've just started our search for next year and this information is very helpful.

Two other N. Arlington preschools I haven't seen mentioned yet are: St. Ann http://stann.org/prospective-families/prek/ (part time for 3s and full time for 4s) and Little Ambassadors' Academy http://littleambassadorsacademy.com/ (full time starting at age 2).

There's Rodef Shalom in Falls Church near N. Arlington and Mclean. It's Jewish but is excellent and has a fair number of non-Jews.

CCCC. Play-based full day preschool (2.5-6yrs) in Clarendon. N.Jackson St. Very awesome place with very, very long wait list.

I'm the poster of all the lists. (we previously lived in fairfax county and then moved to arlington so I searched on everything in both counties and in between, hedging my bets.) I didn't even consider CCCC because i'd heard the waitlist was insane! Our friends are very happy there, though. Little Ambassadors wasn't open when I made the list or it would be on there.
