Do you actually use the diapers that come in a diaper cake?

My sister is telling me not to use the diapers because they probably became dirty. A friend tells me to use them because I'll need all the diapers I can get. My mom wants me to save and keep the cake as is them and never use them. What did you do with your diaper cake?

| I got 2 diaper cakes -- one that my mom made and one that a friend made. I took both apart, unrolled all of the diapers, and laid them flat in a bag. I will use the diapers, I don't think there is anything wrong with them (especially if you know where they came from/who was handling them). I will say that it is a huge pain in the butt to unroll all of the diapers! |

| I've found that my dirty threshold has dropped significantly since kids, especialy since the toddler. Yes, use the diapers. |

| I would use them. Some people have to buy a lot of diapers to find a brand that they like. This may save you from buying a whole package (or more) of diapers. |

| Ah yes, the diaper cake. I got one for a shower for my first kid. I was definitely planning to use them...after all, where was I going to store a diaper cake? And for what purpose? Then I discovered when I went to disassemble the cake that the diapers were hot-glued together and tore when I tried to separate them. So into the trash they went. It was a shame. Diapers are expensive! |

used all the diapers in the 2 cakes we got.
you go though a lot of diapers those first months. Take all the ones you can get! |

| i used mine! It never crossed my mind that they w/b dirty....mine was a bridal shower gift from my BF! You will need all the diapers you can get!!! |
