Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
| Any new places? Looking for a romantic place in DC for 2 to celebrate. If its not French but has great food and ambience that's good too. TIA. |
| Price range? |
| And any particular part of DC? |
| What about Et Voila on Macarthur (although it's Belgian, not French). Or Montmartre on Capitol Hill. Or Blacksalt on Macarthur (not French but excellent food). |
| Marcels |
|
I can think of two
Bistro Lepic in Georgetown and Bistro D'oc on 10th St downtown |
Yup. |
| OP here. Thanks for the suggestions. Anywhere in DC works, price point is under 300. We have done Marcel's. |
| We love bistro la bonne on U Street. Very reasonably priced. Great food. |
| Brasserie Beck (if you liked Marcel's - same owner) - Belgian not French |
My recommendation also. Very pricey, but wonderful, one of the best meals I've had in DC. |
| Bistro Lepic in Georgetown |
|
I really like Bistro Lepic in Gtown, but only the upstairs (the downstairs is really stuffy).
Montmare Palena - not truly French, but wonderful |
| OP here. Bistro Lepic sounds great! Off the french topic, anyone have experience with Rogue 24? |
|
Citronelle.
Not fench but CityZen is really wonderful. |
