No, she wouldn’t. She doesn’t really have any recent history of catering to the media or trying to prove anything. She used to, but has scaled that back.

She has been friends with Blake since the Tom Hiddleston days. Salivating over the ending of what appears to be a very long lasting friendship with virtually no evidence is not a good look

Is it an actual friendship or simply a business interaction, another name to drop? Are any of these people capable of having normal relationships especially with other famous people?

+1. That said, if Taylor is distancing herself from fake friends and users, she ought to begin with her boyfriend.

This is so hilarious and cringe. Ry and Blake are lost in the sauce.

It would be a lot more fun to make light of all this (and I’d be totally inclined to join you in that!) if it weren’t for the fact that these childish antics appear to have dragged down the reputation of a man who was just trying to make a poignant film about domestic violence. The guy hs literally spent most of his adult life championing the causes of feminism—and not only is BL seemingly trying to take over his own movie, but she was allegedly trying to push him out of future films in the franchise because she wanted control. And RR appears to have created an entire character to insert into the Deadpool movie (Nicepool) based on this guy that honestly looks like it served no purpose but to troll and humiliate him.
It’s really bad.

Justin is totally winning the PR war. Regardless of how this comes out in litigation, he has won and Blake has lost.

I suspect this is actually happening because RR feels threatened by JB. JB is younger, hotter, and has abs you could use to cut diamonds. RR is pushing 50 and does campy Marcel movies.

Wishful thinking. At 40 JB barely has a career to speak of.

JB is odd, not as hot as he thinks he is, and not even close to RR in his prime. RR is still way more attractive than JB, but RR is evidently a snake.

I think JB is sexy as hell. I has never heard of him before this movie. I think he's a very good actor for romantic lead. I would rather watch him any day that smarty pants, smug voice Ryan Reynolds. He seems obsessed with himself and his dopey brand of fake self deprecation and sarcasm. Maybe when he stops acting 17 I'll find him more interesting.

I agree with this.

So do I. He wasn’t the lead in Jane the Virgin for nothing. He’s a good looking guy. Nose and all.

Yeah, Taylor like always gets manipulated though. You would think she would be a little better at figuring this out by 35.

They are both Heathers if you ask me.

I feel happy for the poster upthread here who was on set for Gossip Girl and had her lines reduced, for Justin Baldoni, for Emily Baldoni, for Jamey Heath and his wife, for the ADs fired on this film, for the less famous people at the production studio worried about their salaries, for the costume designer who watched the character attired increasingly to look like a rodeo clown on laundry day, and for every person disgusted with her attempts to monetize the antebellum aesthetic.

Blake’s never coming back from this.

Np. I have a few to add. Justin’s parents. The baby bump interviewer. The composer. The girl who played Blair on Gossip Girl.

You can think what you want about the lawsuit but it is patently absurd to think that RR is threatened by Justin Baldoni. He has a net worth of like 350M, is incredibly famous, had one of the biggest movies of the year last year, owns a soccer club and a lucrative alcohol brand. On its face that is just absurd. I would bet RR didn’t even know who he was before this movie. Although I absolutely believe RR would get really petty in defending his wife. But this makes you sound like you write Justin Baldoni fanfiction.

One thing that I have learned about jealousy is that it doesn’t always make sense. That aside. If Ryan felt threatened by the chemistry then there’s that.

TS is maybe mentally about 15. It happens frequently with child stars, they usually stop developing past the age that they became famous, same with addicts.

Isn’t he so greasy and oily looking? JB looks like he would smell like body odor and hair that hasn’t been washed in a week. He looks stinky. He is not my type I guess. RR is about what, 15 yrs older than JB? He’s not too bad considering. Look at RR when he was JB’s age.

It ain’t just bad PR, Taylor Swift may be involved in depositions, testifying, and communication subpoenas.

+1 no one is questioning that RR is more successful, objectively as a star and in net worth. But that doesn't mean he couldn't be jealous if he perceived a connection between JB and BL.

I also agree with PPs that JB is very attractive, it's basically a trope for a big chunk of Jane the Virgin (great show!)

Emphasis on the communications. They will want to see hers with not only Blake but her team too. How did she choose to pick the song? Did she run it by her manager? Did she mention Justin to them?

So Lively sued because her perceived reputation had suffered… but now this earned media has completely trashed her AND her husband’s brands… and endangered her friendship with TS?!?!

I don’t know their personalities but on looks alone Baldoni is so much more handsome and sexy than Reynolds! Are you blind?! Reynolds is just some generic tall white dude with a big forehead.
