crazy to try to head to Rehoboth today (Sunday)?

We're only going for a couple days, and DH thinks we should head out later today as planned (provided the hotel is undamaged and open). I say let's wait until tomorrow, but I do acknowledge it would be easier to travel with the kids late this afternoon and into the evening.

Mostly, my concern is damage between here and there. I'm leaning towards staying home one more night so crews can clean up, but DH is the driver and will likely get the final say. Anyone have any thoughts?

Is the Bay Bridge even open at this point? In addition to making sure the hotel is open, you'll want to make sure the roads are open as well.

I feel for you, OP. We are supposed to be in the Outer Banks right now, and are trying to figure out if we'll be able to salvage any of our vacation . . . .

OP here - the hotel is open and fine, and they have reports that the roads near there are fine. I do need to check the bay bridge, but seems like things aren't too bad. Good luck with your vacation, PP.
