recommend your workout dvds?

I'm looking for something I can do while DS naps -- something that will hopefully help me lose the last 10 pounds I can NOT seem to get rid of from my pregnancy. Ideas?

I love my Jillian Michaels 30-day shred DVD. It is short - only 20 minutes long but I think it is really effective in making me stronger. I haven't lost weight (I'm not dieting) but I think it is because I am gaining muscle. I look and feel a lot better!

P90X, it's a bitch but will whip you into shape faster than anything.

I second the 30 day shred. If you have more time, I recommend Chalean extreme by the same company that prodcues p90x, but it's less time commitment than p90x ( but more than JilliaN).

I hated the 30 day shred.

Insanity gets my vote.

Love the Jackie Warner DVDs. Also like P90x but it is a lot of time. I do it in the winter when I can't be outside.

I just did Andrea Rogers' Extend Barre 'Lean and Chiseled' for the second time. I still can't get through it, and I like the way that you can pick and choose the sessions (arms, barre, core) so you can do what you have time to do. You start pouring sweat and don't even realize it...it's great.

Tracy Anderson. Seems gimmecky but totally works! I'm also a fan of barre classes so Dailey Method or Bar Method DVDs might be good, but I haven't tried them.

What would be a good workout DVD for someone in early 60's who's in overall great shape (worked out in a gym for 5 years) but has only walked for the last year due to a knee injury (now healed)? TIA!

I walk 5 miles 5 days a week and do Jackie Warner's workout dvd 3x a week. It is weight lifting, which is excellent for women! I had knee surgery so I can't run or do a lot of high impact, unless I really want a knee replacement. You just need to really watch your form on the lunges. (I am 40 and have RA.)
