I think Jolie may be pushing her daughters into plain looking clothes and looks. She doesn’t want to be outshined by them. After Shiloh got press for how beautiful she looked at Angelina’s premieres, she soon was sporting a buzz cut and tom boy style again. Angelina is aging and looking haggard. She knows her daughter Shiloh is more beautiful than her. I think she is jealous so she tells her daughters to dress unattractively.

Stop speaking for her. You don't know what went down. But my kids aren't always allowed to dress however they want. There's a time and place for dressing appropriately and it's a parents job to teach them the rules.
