Strange ad

Two things strike me as strange about this ad. For one thing, it lumps Perry and Bachmann, along with Romney, with Obama, Reid, and Pelosi, as smooth-talking Washington politicians. The other is that it calls Paul "The One". Isn't that the sarcastic designation Republicans used for Obama in 2008?

Perry is a smooth talking politician. The guy switched parties to get elected. He's already backpedaling on issues that he thinks hurt his campaign. Look at the guy, he's one of them. The fact that he's been doing it in Texas doesn't matter. Same Fish + New Pond = Same Fish.
