What do you think of this outfit for a wedding?

It's next weekend, and I am the 1st of my friends to have a baby so I don't want to look like the frumpy mom of the group
Sorry I don't know how to insert the photos...

And these shoes

FYI-I have a dress that I already own that I have worn before so this isn't my only option

Love them both!

Me too. Trying to think if I have any excuse to buy them also. I don't.

Thank you! It's really comfy too which is why I bought it, but I hated spending so much on a dress that I won't wear that often

the dress is cute and could be sexy (in a nice way) with the right accessorioes, but I would go with a higher heel (if you can stand it--I knwo my feet killed me postpardum for a while) or at least go for a more dramatic, stand out shoe.

The shoes look a little cheap to me, wouldn't buy them

....those would NOT work with that dress.

I love them both. Just fyi I have those shoes and they often slip off my heel and become " flipflops" ( but I do have a very narrow foot) I still wear them quite often because they are very comfortable

Not PP, but I disagree and think those shoes are sexy and totally workable with the dress. OP, I like the dress but don't love the shoes - they look kinda boring and Mom-ish to me. I agree a higher heel would be great.

Cute dress but I'm not sure I'd wear jersey material to a wedding it looks kind of casual unless it's a early afternoon or am wedding.

I agree with this PP re the shoes.

Also, to dress it up, some gold strappy sandals would look sexy and fancy it up too:

I don't know if flats would be too casual but these would also look hot:

If not gold shoes, then gold jewelry would look really nice with the teal.

i think the dress is a little blah, but i don't dislike it. agree that dramatic metallic accessories will really help. most of the sandals suggested, while pretty, are not appoppriate for a wedding!

I don't wear jersey material to weddings.

Honestly, the dress and shoes really depend on your age and body figure. To me, (mid 20's), I would wear neither. The shoes look cheap and kiddie like with a big flower on it. The dress looks very dull and not flattering at all. Something I could see on my grandmother when tries to dress up.
