Music Classes or Play Groups

I am looking for play groups, music classes or other fun activities for a 1 year old in ward 4 (upper NW) or downtown Silver Spring. The only class I have found so far is the Gymboree classes in Silver Spring, but I am hoping that there are other great programs where my dd can get out and meet other children and have fun.

Which classes/groups have your child (around 1 year) attended and did they enjoy it?

My 12 month old loves Music together at the rec center in Chevy chase.

Thanks pp. I just looked at the website and it sounds like something my dd would love and they offer classes less than a mile from our house.

There are spots available in the Monday 3pm class for music together at cc rec center and i think a few open spots in Thursday's classes. The summer session is short- only 6 sessions so there's only 5 left.
