| My bra size keeps changing, between pregnancy, nursing, weaning, weight loss, etc. I have spent a small fortune on bras in all different sizes the past couple of years. Also, the last time I went to Nordstrom I did not find them as helpful as they used to be and felt like they were pushing a particular brand, and do not love the bras I ended up with. If I'm going to get meh bras that I may not be wearing for long, I'd rather spend $20-30 each, which is what I used to spend when I was a C cup. But I don't know where to find my size except for the specialty shops. I've looked a few places (Target, H&M) and didn't see DD or DDD, at least not in anything smaller than a 38 band size. Does anyone know where I could find them at a better price? Any good reasonably priced brands? |
| Marshalls or TJ Maxx - but it's hit or miss. |
| I get my bras at Nordstrom and always find them pretty helpful. My brand of choice is Wacoal, as I'm a 36 DDD. Occasionally I'll get a fitting at Nordstrom, find some Wacoal styles that I like and then buy them new at half price on Ebay. Since I already know that the style/size fits, I haven't had any issues. |
| Part of the problem is that stores have little incentive to stock rare sizes at a low price point. Online you'll be much better off. Personally, I'd search on Amazon, and read customer reviews carefully. |

I hear ya!
I'm between a 32G and a 34F (aka 34DDD). I ordered a boat load of bras from either HerRoom.com or BareNecessities.com. Tried them all on and sent back all but one or two. Unfortunately none of them were inexpensive, but boy do they make a difference. If you keep your eyes open, you might be able to score a really good sale on a style you like, especially if you are not picky about color. As for brand, try Le Mystere, Simone Perle and Wacoal. I found that these fit better for the large cup, small band. I really like the Le Mystere Manhattan bra to the point where I now own 4 (3 nude, 1 black). |

Check Nordstrom Rack.
I buy all my bras (Chantelle Body Sculpt Seamless - comes in a wide variety of sizes) from Amazon - great prices + free shipping. |
| I get mine at Fredericks of Hollywood. $36eahu |
| Check Kohls -- I see 34DD online for a few of the brands. My sister just picked up a 36DD in the store over the weekend, and they had plenty in stock. Not sure what brand you like, but I've always had good luck with Maidenform, Warners, and the like (all sold at Kohls). |
| barenecessities.com. BTW, what kid of bras are you getting that cost $70. The most expensive bra that I have ever bought was a Spanx for $62 AND I thought that I was splurging. |
| I find the brand and size I want, and then order extras from Amazon. |

OP here. Thank you for all the ideas. I think I'll try online.
to 13:26 - Chantelle. One was actually $78! |
|
13:26 - Spanx only makes up to DD. For those of us who need DDD or larger, it gets expensive. There is a surprising amount of engineering that goes into making a supportive and comfortable DDD bra.
Most of mine retail for more than $70. |
| (14;12 again) I spend ~$70 on jeans that I wear once a week. Why not spend at least that on something that I wear every day that can make me look and feel better? No one sees it, but they might notice if I'm wearing one that doesn't fit right or makes me fidget. |

I second amazon.
They have a deal for 20% off clothing if you sign up for their e-mails. A lot of bras are included. This is my favorite bra. It looks like they have your size(s). DD=E and DDD=F, right? I got one for $80 including tax at Nordstrom, but with the discount you can get one for about $40. http://www.amazon.com/Mystere-Womens-Dream-Tisha-Black/dp/B000RN00YG/ref=sr_1_1?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1313692440&sr=1-1 |
