Has anyone out there gone to see an acupuncturist late in pregnancy?
|
| I haven't but I would if I had a problem that I wanted to work through without meds. I did use Dr. Arthur Fann in Vienna prior to conception and can say that he is wonderful. He is a licensed acupuncturist as well as a medical doctor--teaches at several universities so he is reputable. Hope you feel better! |
| I have gone to Dr. Huang (http://www.huangclinic.com/frame.html) which is about 2 blocks from the Foggy Bottom stop. I've been seeing him regularly since I was TTC - now 40.5 weeks and have been seeing him weekly since 32 weeks. I've seen him for fertility issues and for pain in my shoulder and hip. |

Dr. Li! I don't even know how to get in touch with him, but he has been recommended to me by more than one childbirth professional. He does flipping of breech babies.
I do know a woman who went to him for an induction, because the OBs were threatening to do it anyway. He basically guaranteed it would work or she could come back three days later and have all the work repeated for free. She went into labor that very evening after she went to see him. |

Kelly Welch is in downtown DC - he's great and has a lot of pregnant clients. My friend went right up to the end and I plan to as well.
