Religious views and DCUM

Anonymous
I'm just wondering - this came up on another thread - have you ever changed or modified your religious views or lack thereof based on anything you've read here? There is so much back and forth on the religion front, from doctrine to dogma to "living the true lifestyle" and quotations of scripture and all that, that I wonder if you've ever thought to yourself that you had it wrong and changed your belief system or even just your behavior? Do you know anyone who became religious based on anything they read here? Or decided it was all bunk based on anything they read here? If not, which I'm obviously guessing is the case, why bother?

I don't understand why proselytizing EVER works, but apparently it has historically had some success for the perpetrators... er... practitioners.

I'd be surprised to hear that middle-aged moms make for easy prey, but... (shrugs).
