Expats- dis you have your cell termination fee waived?

I am moving overseas where I can't continue my att wireless service.
I am told I need to pay the cancellation fee. I know that tmobile waives this fee if you are moving out of the Country
Anyone managed to have it waived with att?

Unless you are military or diplomat, the choice to move was yours. Why should you not have to pay termination fee?

Like I said I know for a fact that tmobile waives it, so wanted to see if anyone had any luck win att.

Yes we had it waived, but we were on government orders, so I had to show them a copy of our travel orders. In fact I had everything waved that I had to cancel early (alarm, cable, etc).
